Today Laney had an appointment at Children's Hospital. She was seen by a Doc in the Ear, Nose and Throat department. She has had a cough for over four months and when you look in her throat her tonsils are huge, so we thought it would be a good idea to see a specialist.
The Dr. took one look at her and said yep her tonsils and adenoids need to be removed. They also did a quick x-ray of her chest to make sure nothing else was going on. Her surgery will be scheduled as soon as she is finished with school in June. She was so excited telling me about her day. She said she always wanted to have an x-ray.
We started this blog as a way to update our family and friends on our preemie, Parker. After Parker passed away, Lance and I decided that it was important to continue the blog as a family journal. We are always up to something!
Josh has been coughing for weeks and weeks! I hope we don't have an ENT visit coming -- much less a tonsilectomy....though he might like all the ice cream which would follow.
